Dresner Group, a long-time sponsor of the Crofton Baseball Program, recently stepped in to safeguard the Crofton Athletic Council after vandals caused significant damage to the main baseball field at Bell Branch Park.

For the past three years, Dresner Group has proudly supported the Crofton Baseball Program, including sponsorship of the current 11U team. Earlier this year, when they learned that the field had been vandalized multiple times—including an incident that caused nearly $10,000 in damages—Dresner Group took action. The vandalism included spray-painted profanity, ruined uniforms, and holes smashed into a storage shed. In a separate incident, thieves stole copper wiring from the field lights, leaving them inoperable.

To help the non-profit organization recover and better protect its facilities, Dresner Group donated its time and expertise to design and install a robust surveillance system. The solution provides significant interior and exterior coverage across the park, safeguarding the complex and helping deter future incidents so that young athletes can continue to enjoy a safe place to play.

The Crofton Athletic Council, which relies heavily on fundraising to replace damaged equipment, expressed gratitude for the community’s support and specifically highlighted Dresner Group’s contribution as instrumental in helping them move forward.
