Dresner Group is proud to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore (BGCMB), serving as their managed IT provider across ten local club sites. Our partnership allows BGCMB’s staff and volunteers to stay focused on their mission—empowering youth—while we ensure the technology behind their work remains secure, reliable, and professionally managed.
We were especially honored to play a part in the opening of the new Baltimore Ravens Boys & Girls Club at the Hilton Recreation Center, a transformational project made possible by the Baltimore Ravens, the Bisciotti Family Foundation, and BGCMB.
There is truly no other club like this anywhere in America—the first and only NFL-affiliated Boys & Girls Club in the country.
While Whiting-Turner and their subcontractors handled the physical construction and low-voltage wiring, Dresner Group served as the Club’s trusted technology advisor throughout the project to ensure all technology components came together seamlessly.
Our role included:
- Technology Consulting & Project Oversight: Coordinating with multiple vendors and bridging gaps to ensure all systems were implemented as BGCMB expected.
- Network Design, Installation & Configuration: Guiding equipment selection and deploying the networking infrastructure that powers the facility.
- Surveillance & Access Control Guidance: Advising on camera and access-control systems—providing the white-glove support and expertise the installation subcontractor could not offer.
- Quality Assurance Across Vendors: Validating deliverables from all technology-related contractors to ensure the facility launched smoothly and met long-term operational needs.
- Ongoing Managed IT Support: As an existing MSP partner, Dresner Group will integrate this site into our broader support model, providing cybersecurity, monitoring, help desk assistance, and ongoing management for years to come.
This project is more than a new building—it represents a generational investment in West Baltimore’s youth, backed by some of the region’s most committed community partners. We are grateful to play our part in supporting BGCMB’s mission and ensuring technology helps, not hinders, their impact.
