Maryland Residents: Beware of New Gmail Extortion Scam

The Maryland State Police (MSP) have recently issued warnings about a dangerous email scam specifically targeting Maryland residents. From August through September, the MSP Financial Crimes Unit has received multiple reports of internet-based schemes involving Gmail accounts.
